An easy to use add-in for Microsoft Excel to view images in cells and to add many images, as a product catalog. You can add or delete images. Trying to print an Excel for Mac document and I get a pop up stating ('Microsoft Excel.app' would like access to your Photos.) I'm curious what a spreadsheet app, with no images in the file, needs with access to my photos? Also, what does that even mean? I have thousands of images between my 3 drives, does excel just need access to my photographs taken with a camera but not my line art? Does this include all of my jpgs, pngs, tiffs, svgs, psds, illustrator and pdf files too? Or is it just wanting access to the images in a photos folder? Perhaps a Photos app? Also, how is excel planning to use my photos? Delete the ones it doesn't like? Share the good ones with its friends? I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation, but currently it just seems like an extreme grab for extra permissions that I will never use with this app but Excel needs because. I'm not sure this is a question that anyone but MS can answer, but I'm just throwing it out there in case someone has an idea why Excel 'would like' this access and what it actually means.
